It is an aptitude based skill test for students who want to apply for undergraduate programs in Germany and are not an european citizen. It is basically a test which measures the intellectual level of a student based on different subjects which is according to the student’s choice. Test mode could German or English. This exam is conducted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in different countries & centres 3-4 times in a year.
TestAS measures your skills in three parts.
Part 1: consists of an Onscreen language test.
Part 2: called the Core test consists of quantitative aptitude, inferring relations, pattern completion and numerical series.
Part 3: consists of a subjective module test (Humanity, Law, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Medicine, Business or Economics).
How long this test takes: –
1. Language test- 30 minutes
2. Core test- 110 minutes
3. Subject specific test- 150 minutes
There is no negative marking if an answer gets wrong.

This test is made only for students who are applying for their higher studies in German public universities and are not an European citizens.
Age Limit:
There is no age limit for entering the TestAS exam, it should be taken by anyone outside of the EU willing to study in an undergraduate programme at a German university.
